　　本書對中國學生英語冠詞過渡語知識的發展善進行了考察。針對中國學生英語冠詞知識方存在的缺陷，作者圍繞三個問題展開了討論：①英漢語言類型之間的差別如何影響中國學生英語冠詞習得；②冠詞語義如何影響不同用法的習得難易度；③學習者因互如何限制英語冠詞習得中的輸入處理。研究結果顯示，英語和漢語名詞詞組內部結構存在差異，這種差異是導致中國學生零冠詞誤用現的重要原因，而復雜的冠詞語義則是造成中國學生過度使用定冠詞的深層原因。此外，成人所特有的認知學習風格在輸入處理中發揮作用會導致餅得過程中出現語際和語內兩類干擾，影響中國學生曲語冠詞過渡語知識的發展。這些研究結果有助于加深對中國英語學習條件下成人習得英語冠詞系統的了解。
