　　英語《中國文化》（Chinese Culture ：A Course Book）一書是為我國高等院校英語專業學生、具有一定英語基礎的大學生及愛好中國文化的外國讀者而編寫，因此它既是一冊英語專業相關課程教材，也可以作為了解中國文化的英語入門讀物。本書的編寫旨在開拓當代大學生的文化視野，提高大學生的人文素養以及在對外文化交流中熟練運用英語表達中國文化的能力。本書共分15章，對中國文化的各個方面進行了系統而有重點的介紹，內容包括中國地理概況、歷史、語言文字、哲學、宗教、文學、書法繪畫、園林建筑、中醫中藥、科學技術、工藝美術、飲食服飾等。為了方便讀者閱讀和學習，對一些較難的人名、地名、歷史事件等采用了漢字夾注的形式，每一章后面提供生詞短語、難點注釋和多樣化的練習題，以加強讀者對課本知識的消化與鞏固。此外，我們還在每章后面提供了短小有趣的閱讀材料，幫助學生對相關內容的知識擴展，開闊視野。為了增加閱讀的趣味性和歷史感，我們還為每章精心選取了一些圖片，以求達到圖文并茂的效果。
