【作者簡介】 Andrew Plaks has been Professor of East Asian Studies of Princeton University since earning his doctorate there in 1973. he is concurrently a faculty member in the Department of Comparative upon the interpretation of classic texts from a cross-cultural perspective. His major publications includes： Archetype and Allegory in the Dream of the Red Chamber， Chinese Narrative： Critical and Theoretical Essays， The Four Masterworks of the Ming Novel and numerous articles on early， medieval， and late Imperial Chinese Literature.
